My Role: Sole creator.

 

Description: Frustrated with some of the streaming platforms’ interface and design choices, I decided to create an interface based on my personal tastes and preferences. I approached this with a no-nonsense design philosophy and something that focused on the user first. The layout is intuitive and eye-catching and doesn’t overload you with irrelevant information that the average viewer does not care about.

 

Tools used: I created this prototype using Figma and Adobe Illustrator.

 

Accomplishments: I believe that I accomplished what I set out to do and I did learn a lot about movie app interfaces when designing this layout. I learned about what to emphasize and how to lay things out in a way that provides the user with the information they are seeking without overwhelming them.
